Kristina Downs is the Executive Director of the Texas Folklore Society. She is also the creator and host of the Crimelore podcast, in which examines the intersections of folklore and true crime. Her research focuses include crime legends, online crime-solving communities, and representations of Indigenous heroines in the United States and Mexico.
